«An ordinary day» est une vidéo d’animation basée sur une phrase de Malcom X : «Concerning nonviolence, it is criminal to teach a man not to defend himself when he is the constant victim of brutal attacks.» La vidéo met en scène Hakeem b, dans une version dessin animé, qui marche, et qui au fur et à mesure de son parcours est victime de coups invisibles, d’une décapitation et d’un sniper isolé. Malgré ces attaques brutales Hakeem b se relève et reprend sa marche comme par résistance. Une résistance que les Hommes doivent mettre en oeuvre quotidiennement. Une résistance face à une violence omniprésente que certains subissent et que d’autres regardent.

In spite of these brutal attacks Hakeem b is raised and taken again its walk as by resistance. A resistance which the Humanity must implement daily. A resistance against an omnipresent violence that some undergo and that others look at.
